
While I’m very excited to write about this juice, it happens to be my least favorite (mainly because I do not like the taste), but I will still give you the gist on the reason this juice is probably the most beneficial of all the juices I have made. The juice contains celery (60%), orange and carrot (20% each). I would not be writing about the benefits of orange and carrot because I already did in my previous posts.
Celery is an herb and that contains vitamins, amino acids, and minerals. It is one of the plants that contains very strong antioxidant properties (if you are wondering what antioxidants are, you can refer to my free posts). One of the main compounds found in celery called “apiin” gives the plant its antioxidant properties. In addition to this, celery lowers blood pressure while protecting several organs from oxidative stress. If you are someone who worries about long-term risks associated with our modern-day lifestyles (stress, eating junks/processed foods, less sleep etc) the possible repercussions on our health, celery is your peace. Its documented antioxidant properties are second to none. Consistent consumption of celery has anticarcinogenic effect.
